OT Services

Getting to know you, your strengths, needs, goals and priorities. This helps us understand what matters to you, and the resources and supports you have access to. We use a range of methods to identify potential areas to maximise your independence and participation in activities of daily living.

Personalised home and community-based Occupational Therapy tailored to your specific needs, life stage, and priorities.  This allows you to work within the context where you need it most. We pride ourselves on person-centred, targeted outcomes, meaning intervention will always be structured at your pace and provide opportunities and tools for you to maximise your quality of life.

Paws and Thrive are passionate about animals and have a special interest in supporting you to identify if an Assistance Animal is right for you. If you are considering an Assistance Animal or have a dog you would like to train to become your Assistance Dog, we can work with you to assess your specific needs and circumstances and help you apply. This service is offered to Self-managed and Plan-managed NDIS participants across Australia via Telehealth.

Your Well-being at the Heart of Everything We Do.

We pride ourselves on open and honest communication. This includes responding to enquiries and feedback efficiently. We are committed to delivering trustworthy and reliable services and uphold professional standards in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.

We are passionate about what we do and we care about what matters to you. We are also passionate about animals which is why Paws and Thrive was developed. We love the human-animal bond, and value the support Assistance Animals can provide. We are not only committed to supporting you on your journey to having an Assistance Animal, but also to help contribute towards the evidence for this support and ensuring the welfare of these animals are equally considered.

We will partner with you by seeking to develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs, strengths and priorities. We are committed to working with you, your family and your professional team, with your consent. We will endeavour to work collaboratively with your other chosen services as appropriate, to enhance outcomes and efficiencies.

We are dedicated to providing quality Occupational Therapy services. We do this by ensuring professionalism, keeping your information secure and delivering holistic, non-judgemental and comprehensive services. We welcome feedback and are committed to ongoing quality improvement. We participate in continuous learning and development to ensure our services align with evidence-based practice that you can rely on to optimise your outcomes.

We acknowledge that each person is unique so we come from a position of curiosity to get to know you, develop rapport and allow you time to develop trust in us as your chosen service provider. All neurotypes have unique strengths, interests and support needs and we are committed to helping you and those around you embrace them.
